SUCCESSES
Brake Drum Manufacturer
Our client was seeking to automate Load Planning, Picking, and Shipping at their
2 manufacturing locations. The ERP system in place was MAS200. The scope of the project
was extended to include shop floor operations: Report Complete and Pallet Labeling.
Shipment planners use RoamingCode's Load Planninng Console to prepare truck loads which are released to the floor for picking.
RoamingCode deployed its RF Framework. Warehouse workers use Honeywell 9500 terminals. The warehouse personnel print barcode labels on Tharo printers deployed at fixed locations in the factory. The client had an existing license for EasyLabel (Tharo Systems); the framework was quickly modified to incorporate label printing.
Bottom Line: The client now has portable applications accelerating warehouse operations.
